This weekend allowed me to share with people that understand and are going through the same.
This weekend allowed me to share with people that understand and are going through the same.
"Being able to see the reaction from my fiancée when she seen the glow that she hadn’t seen ever until this past weekend. "
"We were particularly touched by the memorial. "
"This weekend for myself and most likely many other brothers that attended was life changing. It gave me something to finally look forward to in the year. "
"Words can’t even begin to describe how good it was to re-unite with all the Marines from 3rd CEB. "
"I will be at all the others...because it was a truly powerful experience! "
"It was my honor. I really enjoyed seeing everyone. Thank you for all of your hard work. It really showed and I appreciate it more than you know. "
In late 2025, The 3D CEB Foundation was honored to receive a Miles for Good Grant from Pilot Company to support a reunion of the 3rd Combat Engineer Battalion.
This reunion was more than a gathering. It was a weekend built with intention, purpose, and a commitment to the Marines, Sailors, and families who continue to carry the legacy of the 3rd CEB.
Throughout the weekend, the Foundation created opportunities for connection, remembrance, education, and family support, including a Support Group Luncheon, Veterans Benefits Luncheon, Memorial and Banquet, and Family Day.
Together, we honored the 37 Marines and Sailors whose lives were lost, remembered their service and sacrifice, and created space for those who served alongside them to reconnect and strengthen the bonds that have endured long beyond their time in uniform.
But bringing veterans together was only part of the mission.
The Foundation used the grant funding with one goal in mind: to remove financial barriers whenever possible so that no 3rd CEB Marine or Sailor who wanted to attend would be left behind simply because they could not afford to come.
Because connection matters.
For many veterans, returning to the people who understand where they have been can be a powerful reminder that they are not alone. The same is true for their families, who often carry the effects of military service and sacrifice alongside them.
Uplifting the veteran while providing resources, connection, and support for their families is a core value of The 3D CEB Foundation. The 2026 reunion was a meaningful expression of that commitment.
We came together to remember the fallen, reconnect the living, reinforce the bonds of brotherhood, support our families, and establish a legacy that continues beyond a single weekend.
We remember. We reconnect. We serve. We carry it forward.
